Men go for the big ticket items, so while they may spend less frequenly less frequently, they spend more. As for investments, women are by nature more cautious. Derrick, although women may make BUYING decisions based on emotions, that doesn't necessarily mean they don't manage their money properly. Although I know couples that have the man manage the money, I know plenty of couples that have the woman do so. Honestly, it depends on the person.
