My favorite is hotels. Just the magic words, "Is that the best you can do?" almost always works, even with AAA (unless, of course the house is packed). And when our middle son rang up a $300+ texting bill, I was able to switch to a unlimited plan for $5 more, and have the bill wiped out - of course, I had been a customer for 20 years, or so.
